This lovely original painting is based on an actual photograph of a jay spotted perching on an old byzantine stone inscription at the Garden Tomb. It is painted by Peter Spaander – the Garden Tomb artist and guide. It features the scripture: “He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will not be shaken” (Psalm 62:6).
